Job Summary The City of Greenville runs various Special Events throughout the year. We are looking for individuals who would like to join the Special Events Support Staff to assist with pre-event, on-site, and event execution. This position requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, creative thinking, a passion for events, and the ability to create a high-quality experience for attendees. Note: Hours will vary based on event needs. Nights, weekends, and some holidays are required. Examples of Duties Operational support for on-site and off-site events, including but not limited to set-up, breakdown, program facilitation, event management, inventory management, parking facilitation, and other duties assigned; Event set-up can include tables, chairs, tents, ladders, canopies, decorations, lights, sound equipment, electrical equipment, audio/visual equipment, and other select equipment as needed. The incumbent’s duties and responsibilities are performed independently under the general supervision of the AVP & DOS within established department guidelines and policies.
