Confer with architects, contractors, builders and the general public in the office and in the field, explain and interpret requirements and restrictions; attend and participate in professional organization and attend classes to keep abreast of changes and new trends. Maintain files and prepare reports regarding inspection activities and findings; input data to the City's computerized permit tracking system. Minimum Qualifications/Knowledge, Skills & Abilities QUALIFICATIONS Experience: Four years of increasingly responsible building inspection experience including one year of lead or supervisory responsibility.
