Health Care (Medical, Vision and Dental) A Seasonal Maintenance Worker (SMW) is eligible for health benefits (medical, dental, vision) 1st of the month following date of hire or re-hire. Coverage is available to employees, their spouse/domestic partner and eligible dependent children up to age 26. The City pays 90% of the cost of coverage, employees pay 10%. Retirement Membership in the Public Employees Retirement System (PERS)/Oregon Public Service Retirement Plan (OPSRP) The City currently pays the employee's share of the retirement contribution.
