Job Description and Duties

Under the supervision and direction of the Administrative Officer II at the Ukiah Center, the Office Technician (OT) is responsible for the more complex clerical work and all Corpsmember (CM) timekeeping duties for the Ukiah Center. The OT is responsible for all CM payroll and personnel matters, including paperwork for hires, separations, transfers, promotions, and on-the-job injuries (workers’ compensation). Provides back-up to the other clerical staff as needed. Has extensive telephone and face-to-face contact with employees, vendors, and the public. Maintains confidential, personnel, and administrative files and reference materials. Cross trains to assist the MST with all staff and SPCM payroll, fiscal and budgetary issues, including payment requests, computer data input, vendor contact, and research as necessary.

Working Conditions

This position reports to the Ukiah Center at 2600 Old River Rd. Ukiah, CA 95482.
  • Hybrid - This position is classified as “Hybrid” and eligible for up to one day of telework per week, minimum of four (4) days of in-office work.
