Job Description
The City Librarian will work closely with the City Manager and Director of Community Services to lead the transition planning and implementation process and oversee the libraries when opened as city-run facilities. The City of Irvine seeks an experienced professional librarian and leader drawn to the opportunity to take a key leadership role in shaping the bright future of Irvine's public library system. Building upon the strong community support that currently exists, the successful candidate will have a track record of providing organizational leadership in well managed library systems.
