This position will be located at the Southwest Regional Office, 2040 West Woodland, Springfield, MO 65807.
- Conduct land disturbance inspections of permitted sites in the region
- Conduct stormwater inspections
- Conduct environmental concern investigations related to land disturbance and stormwater.
- Draft inspection/investigation reports in a timely manner and perform follow-up enforcement actions.
- Provide compliance assistance to permit holders and the general public

- A valid Missouri State Driver’s License
Equivalent to those typically gained by:
- Ability to conduct site inspection over uneven and rough terrain while carrying up to 50 pounds.
- A Bachelor’s degree in environmental sciences, natural resources, physical sciences, or a closely related field, and 0 - 4 or more years of relevant experience.
