The JobPublic Health is offering an exciting internship opportunity for a student to demonstrate their creativity by constructing a database to function as a directory for Public Health. During the internship, the student will also develop additional skills that may qualify them for regular positions within the County. This position is in the Strategic Integrity Division of Public Health.
This opportunity allows students to:
- Interact with a variety of Public Health's staff and build relationships and future contacts.
- Gain an understanding of essential Public Health services and how they impact the community.
- Increase their knowledge and competency for future employment opportunities with Public Health.
- Apply classroom and academic learning to achieve real-world results.
- Learn San Bernardino County policy and how it is implemented within Public Health.
Public Health works to prevent epidemics and the spread of disease, protect against environmental hazards, prevent injuries, and promote and encourage healthy behaviors. Public Health also responds to disasters, assists communities in recovery, and assures the quality and accessibility of health services throughout the County.

Minimum RequirementsMust be enrolled in a junior college, university, or technical school. Please be sure to include a copy of your most recent transcripts.
Desired QualificationsExperience with Microsoft Excel and/or SharePoint is highly desired.
