Position DescriptionA job involving an appointment for infrequent temporary work where the employee is called in as needed.
Major/Essential Functions- Adheres to institutional and departmental safety polices and procedures.
- Phone calls abandonment rate goal under 5%, average handle time, calls return to queue.
- Attends Power hour.
- Answers phones, schedule appointments, consults, pulls consults, schedule hospital D/C, message to nursing staff.
- Sending out notes ENT and Audiology.
- Helps notify patients of appointments for new patients.
- Employees may be responsible for handling cash.
- Performs other related duties as required.
- Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of
people and use a calculator. - Proficient typing, ability to interact effectively with others and ability to work in a busy environment.
Required QualificationsEducation: High school diploma or equivalent; Additional education may substitute for the experience requirement.
Experience: 3 years Customer Service, office or related experience, with 2 of those years in a healthcare setting preferred.
