Position Description
Performs professional level work at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center by conducting classes on a per-course or limited-term basis, without any guarantee of continuing employment. Responsibilities encompass the coordination and instruction of one or more courses within a prescribed curriculum. Teachers in this classification usually specialize in the academic subject, professional discipline or technical skill being taught at the time of employment. Work is performed under general supervision with evaluation based upon results obtained. May supervise subordinate employees assigned to area of responsibility. Contributes to the university's mission through teaching, research and service, some variation by academic unit.


Major/Essential Functions
Teaching duties for the School of Health Professions Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences department as defined by the designated department.

Instruction of one or more courses associated with the Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences department
