Major Duties
Under general supervision of the Associate Director, Academic Personnel & Payroll Operations, the HR Payroll Coordinator performs activities related to the daily tracking, maintenance, and distribution of paperwork and information through the Academic Personnel and Payroll Operations unit. The incumbent is Involved in coordinating and assisting with processing personnel-related transactions of student, staff, and faculty jobs, including Additional Pay.
• Assists with the planning, reviewing and editing workshop communication material related to student and academic personnel hiring.
• Responsible for the process of tracking and renewing temporary appointments, and expiring visas, work permits, and licenses to ensure compliance with policy and timely completion of the process.
• Reviews documents, audits information and enters data into SOLAR HR.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
• Equivalent to four (4) years of full-time, general office clerical and administrative support experience that has provided the applicant with the knowledge and abilities listed
• Equivalent to full-time college or university education/vocational school training in business or job-related field may be substituted for up to two (2) years of the required experience on a year for year basis

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
• Thorough knowledge of correct English grammar, spelling, and punctuation; office methods, procedures, and practices; and university infrastructure, policies, and procedures
• Ability and specialized skills to: coordinate many different administrative duties; interpret and apply a variety of complex policies and procedures
• Ability to set deadlines, priorities, and complete projects accordingly
• Ability to perform standard business math, such as calculate ratios and percentages, track financial data, and make simple projections; establish and maintain a cooperative working relationships

Pay, Benefits, & Work Schedule
• The university offers an excellent benefits package, including but not limited to: medical, dental, vision, retirement & savings, tuition waiver and more.
• Classification: Administrative Support Coordinator / 1035 / grade I
• The anticipated HIRING RANGE: $3680 - $4247 per month, dependent upon qualifications and experience. The salary range for this classification is: $3680 - $5783 per month.
• HOURS: Full Time; 40 hours per week; Monday through Friday.
• This is a Regular position with a one-year probationary period.
• The position is currently hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days remote); however, this is subject to change based on student and/or operational needs.
