Multiple Equipment Operator positions are available with The City of Fort Worth (TPW / Streets and Stormwater Operations Division). TPW Streets and Stormwater Operations is seeking to hire Equipment Operators Trainees and Equipment Operators with a positive attitude and willingness to learn. The candidates selected to fill the Equipment Operator positions will be performing maintenance and construction duties in addition to operating equipment.

Equipment Operator Trainee Minimum Qualifications and Pay:
  • Pay starting at $17.62 /hour
  • High School diploma/GED.
  • No experience required.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Possess or have the ability to obtain and maintain a Class A Driver's License with a Tank Endorsement within six (6) months of hire; Operations of a hydro-mulch vehicle, water truck, and/or vactor as required.
  • Must pass drug screen and physical.

Equipment Operator Minimum and Preferred Qualifications, as well as Pay is listed below:
  • Pay starting at $20.50 /hour with $2,000 sign on incentive
  • High School diploma/GED.
  • One (1) year of experience in operation of motorized equipment.
  • Class A Driver's License with a Tank Endorsement; Operations of a hydro-mulch vehicle, water truck, and/or vactor as required.
  • Must pass drug screen and physical.
