Rank of Assistant Professor and applicable salary are dependent upon candidate's qualifications and experience.
Major/Essential Functions- Teach students in the Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Management (BSHM) program.
- Teach students in the Master of Science of Healthcare Administration (MSHA) as required.
- Assist the Chair and Program Directors in the development of innovative programs in health management and leadership.
- Involvement in student learning through teaching and institutional research.
- Advise students regarding program requirements and degree plans of study.
- Provide program management support regarding instructional design and compliance.
- Assist Program Directors as requested by serving as lead faculty on courses aligning with faculty expertise.
- Assist with onboarding new adjunct faculty and sustainment training with respect to courses serving as lead.
- Assist in establishing national-level recognition regarding health-related programs.
- Service to the profession and the wider academic community.
- Service to the department, campus, and university-wide committees.
- Participation in professional development to maintain expertise in teaching topics.

Occasional Duties
Required Qualifications- Graduated with a doctorate degree in a field relevant to the position.
- Minimum of five (5) years of work experience in a healthcare field relevant to the education of future healthcare administrative leaders.
