A courier job is available with the Fort Worth Public Library. We are seeking a reliable, hard-working team member to transport library books and materials between library locations around the city of Fort Worth.
Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED.
- Two years of delivery/driver experience.
For jobs that require additional screens include under minimum qualifications: - Must pass Drug Screen
- Must have clean motor vehicle record.
Preferred Qualifications: - Customer service experience
- Delivery experience
The Courier’s job responsibilities include: - Sorting library materials
- Loading a box truck with a liftgate
- Delivering materials to library locations around the city
- Inspecting truck at the beginning and end of shift to make sure it is in good working order.

- Employees in this position are required to exert 100 pounds of force occasionally, up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 20 pounds of force constantly having to move objects.
