Position DescriptionPerforms semi-professional work on various projects and programs. Work is performed under supervision within established policies with latitude for independent judgment. Employee performance is based upon a review of completed work and overall results obtained. May supervise specialized clerical section.
Major/Essential Functions- Verifying patient eligibility and insurance benefits
- Processing referrals, authorizations, and insurance requests
- Communicating between medical facilities, patients, and insurance companies
- Other duties as assigned by clinic leadership
Required QualificationsHigh school plus 4 years experience. Additional education may substitute on a year for year basis.
