Position DescriptionPerforms specialized work in the planning, conducting and/or supervising of original research at TTUHSC. Responsible for participating in, planning, scheduling and/or supervising research projects and the interpretation of the results for publication. Work is performed under general supervision with evaluation based on accomplishment of assigned objectives and overall effectiveness of project. May supervise research and student assistants.
Major/Essential Functions- Collect and manage the required data to evaluate the WTAHEC programs/activities.
- Maintain health professions information resource database on the Institute's server.
- Sources data and explain metadata for proper academic sourcing and publication.
- Conduct research, interviews, and surveys to develop reports and data analysis.
- Compiles data for use in report, publications, articles, and other materials for the Institute.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required QualificationsMaster's degree or specialized academic training beyond the Bachelor's level in a particular field of science or engineering equivalent to a Master's degree. Knowledge of modern research practices, the methods, resources, and standards thereof.
