Pay Rate: $15.45/hr. - $19.11/hr.

Multiple Community Center Aide jobs are available with The City of Fort Worth Park & Recreation Department to assist with programs and activities at our Community Centers. Working evenings and weekends may be required. Locations include: Hillside, RD Evans, and Southwest Community Centers.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • At least six months of experience in recreation or athletic services and programs
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Possess, or have the ability to obtain a CPR, First Aid, and AED certification during the first six months of employment
  • Must pass drug test and physical

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bilingual English/Spanish speaking skills
  • Experience working with children ages 5 - 13
  • Customer service experience
  • Strong computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel

The Community Center Aide job responsibilities include:
  • Assist with coordinating and conducting programs and activities for participants of all ages.
  • Work the front desk as the first point of contact dealing with inquiries, taking registrations, checking members in to programs and selling memberships.
  • Perform a variety of facility upkeep duties including custodial and light maintenance work around the center.
  • Be responsible for working some evening and weekend hours.
