Duties and Responsibilities:

Working under the direction of the Principal Investigator and Outreach Specialist, the Coordinator has primary operations and supervisory responsibilities for the FFRC office in Lancaster (Antelope Valley). Daily contacts with FFRC staff, parents, professionals and conducts educational workshops and events, oversees staff. This position is 30-hour per week position with excellent benefits. Occasional evening or weekend hours required. Reimbursed occasional travel in the community required.
  • Contacts with parents and professionals via phone, Zoom, face to face, email
  • Staff supervision and office management/coordination
  • Support groups, outreach and community events
  • Planning and conducting workshops, training and events
  • Management of data reporting/compliance
  • Staff meetings, Advisory Board meetings and professional development


Knowledge, Specialized Skills, and Abilities:
  • Supervisory experience
  • Collaborative and a team player
  • Ability to build strong partnerships and relationships with community agencies/families/consumers
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good time managements and planning skills
  • Ability to follow through and complete assignments in a timely manner
  • Technical skills (PC, Email, Zoom)
  • BA or combination of some college and work experience


Desirable Experience:
  • Parent or relative of a child with disability and bilingual


Pay, Benefits, & Work Schedule

This position is employed through The University Corporation (TUC).

The anticipated hiring range: $21/hr - $23/hr

Full Pay range: $21/hr - $23/hr

Time Base: Full-Time

Benefits: Medical, Dental, and Vision
