Pay Range: $25.55/hr - $29.81/hr

Workdays & Hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm; Some evening/weekend work required.

A Business Process Analyst I job is available with the City of Fort Worth Transportation & Public Works (TPW) GIS & Asset Management section. This position will provide business support for Transportation Management and Streets & Stormwater Operations. This position will be part of a collaborative team working on the GIS and Asset Management Initiative within the Business Support Division.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in Business Administration, Public Administration, Computer Science, Geographic Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Valid Texas Driver’s License

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Two years of business experience and business analysis experience.
  • Experience in reading and reviewing plans.
  • Experience with ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS online.
  • Configuring Off -the -Shelf Software

The Business Process Analyst I job responsibilities include:
  • Create and update GIS data for various transportation assets and data layers
  • Develops cartographic maps for various departmental and public meetings
  • Develop and update web maps through ArcGIS Online
  • Consult with the IT department when necessary to request database changes
  • Provides training to end-users on new or existing systems including GIS.
  • Performs quality assurance and controls for GIS data integrity
  • Provide support for small to large scale GIS projects
  • Develop detailed end user documentation
