Full CSU Classification Salary Range: $4,269 - $6,040 per month
- This is a full-time (equivalent to 40 hours per week), probationary, non-exempt position.
The CSU system provides a comprehensive benefit package that includes medical, dental and vision plans, membership in the California Public Employees Retirement System (CalPERS), sick and vacation time, and 15 paid holidays a year. Job Summary The Transfer Admissions Unit in the Office of Admissions and Recruitment is responsible for providing admission and advising services that assist transfer students in their transition to the university. The Transfer Admissions Unit admits incoming transfer students; advises transfer students regarding their admissions requirements and their transfer credit applicable to baccalaureate programs; identifies requirements for their particular major; and advises students regarding appropriate pathways for meeting major and General Education degree requirements.
Key Qualifications - Rapidly acquire such knowledge of the organization, procedures and activities of CSU Fresno.
- Rapidly acquire a working knowledge of the specific objectives of the admissions office and its relationship to operations.
- Interpret and apply program rules and regulations.
- Gather and analyze data, reason logically, draw valid conclusions and make appropriate recommendations.
- Present clear and concise information orally and in written reports.
- Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with faculty, CSU administrators, student organizations and other private and public agencies.

Education and Experience - Equivalent to graduation from a four-year college or university in one of the behavioral sciences, public or business administration or a job-related field.
- Additional specialized experience during which the applicant has acquired and successfully applied the knowledge and abilities of the position may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
- One year of entry level or trainee experience in student services.
- A master's degree in a job-related field may be substituted for one year of professional experience.
