Job Overview
To provide for the care and well-being of laboratory animals, including duties mandated by government and campus regulations, daily care and feeding of laboratory animals, and maintenance of documents and records regarding animal use.
Position Summary
Animal Care Technician (Instructional Support Assistant I)
This is a part time (approx 28 hours per week), temporary, non-exempt position ending on or before August 1, 2024. Reappointment to this position is dependent upon the individual's performance as well as administrative and budgetary considerations. The university reserves the right to terminate this appointment earlier than the scheduled expiration date.
Anticipated Hiring Salary Amount: $20.22 per hour
CSU Classification Salary Range: $3,505 - $5,012 per month (full-time equivalent)
