Position DescriptionProvides nutritional counseling and therapeutic diets for clinic patients. Performs complex dietetic work and plans food selection and preparation. Develops dietary standards and policies.
Works under limited supervision with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
Major/Essential Functions- Create nutrition plans to improve the health and physical condition of patients.
- Educate patients on a healthy diet.
- Advise patients on dietary and food safety.
- Any additional duties as assigned by clinic leadership.
Required QualificationsEducation:
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in dietetics, food and nutrition or related field from an approved accredited university.
License/Certification:
Registered as a Dietitian by the American Dietetic Association.
Experience:
At least four years experience in dietitian work.
