General Description and Classification Standards The
Watershed Construction Maintenance Worker II (Operations - OLIO) Stone and Brick Mason is a lead worker for semi-skilled. Provides construction and/or maintenance work to support a variety of drinking water or distribution, system activities, and operates hand and power tools, light to medium construction equipment, etc. This position is part of a larger crew working with skilled trade employees (experienced), equipment operators, technicians, and crew supervisors. May also work alone or act as a lead worker on a crew for construction or maintenance activities. May assist in training, orientation, or observing junior associates, apprentices, or semi-skilled employees.
Supervision Received Works under direct supervision and follows standardized procedures and written/verbal instructions to accomplish assigned tasks; may assist in training, orienting, or observing lower-level associate, apprentice, or semi-skilled employee in the group.
Minimum Qualifications - Education and Experience - High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED)
- Seven (7) years of experience in construction and/or maintenance in a water distribution system, or mechanical or industrial operations.
Minimum Required Licensures and Certifications Preferred Licensures and Certifications - State of Georgia Commercial Drivers License (CDL) Class B
- Water Distribution or Wastewater Collection Systems Operator License
