Duties and Responsibilities:

Working under the direction of the Program Manager, the Family Support Provider will assist participants in Early Start and school-age programs including daily contacts with parents and professionals; entering data; conducting parent education activities or support groups; and special projects as assigned. This position is part time (up to 15 hours per week) with occasional weekend & evening hours for outreach events or activities.
  • Contacts with parents and professionals via phone, face to face, email, Zoom
  • Conducting workshops, trainings; creating resource materials
  • Support groups, outreach and community events
  • Staff meetings, Advisory Board meetings, data management, admin duties
  • Professional development, including attending trainings and occasional conferences


Knowledge, Specialized Skills, and Abilities:
  • Degree or working experience.
  • Knowledge of special education and Regional Center systems.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate well with others
  • PC skills.
  • Bilingual desirable.
  • Experience as a parent, family member or relative to an individual with a disability preferred.


Pay, Benefits, & Work Schedule

This position is employed through The University Corporation (TUC).

The anticipated hiring range: $18/hr - $22/hr

Full Pay range: $18/hr - $22/hr

Time Base: Part-Time
