The Position

Management Analysts conduct a variety of studies, research and analysis of management and administrative areas such as budgeting and financial analysis; departmental operations; legislative analysis; management research; and statistical and informational analysis.

The Aging and Disability Services Division is currently recruiting for a full-time Management Analyst 2 in Las Vegas, Nevada. This recruitment may be used to fill current and future vacancies as they occur in the following program(s): Office of Community Living (OCL) and Money follows the Person (MFP).

Incumbent supports MFP grant and program data collection and reporting, the financial management and review of subawards and other grant funding, as well as activities related to compliance with state and federal regulations, other data collection and analysis, reports, training, research, and grant writing. Incumbent is required to have experience with Microsoft Excel. To Qualify:

In order to be qualified, you must meet the following requirements:
Education and Experience (Minimum Qualifications) Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in public or business administration, finance, social sciences, mathematics or related field and two years of professional experience in the research, development, evaluation or revision of programs, organizations, methods or procedures; OR graduation from high school or equivalent education and four years of professional experience as described above; OR one year of experience as a Management Analyst I in Nevada State service; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience as described above. Special Requirements Pursuant to NRS 284.4066, some positions in this series have been identified as affecting public safety. Persons offered employment in these positions must submit to preemployment screening for controlled substances. This position requires a valid driver's license or evidence of equivalent mobility at the time of appointment and as a condition of continuing employment. This position requires a State of Nevada/FBI fingerprint-based background check as a condition of appointment and as condition of continuing employment.
