Salary Range: $4,912 - $12,124/Monthly

Work Schedule : Full-Time, Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; exempt classification.

Essential Functions : Under the general direction of the Associate Vice President, the incumbent's primary responsibility is to work relatively independently to manage technical/ non-technical projects as assigned. Project management includes, but not limited to, working with cross-functional project teams, managing project activities, creating a project schedule, tracking tasks and timelines, communicating deliverables and project status, ensuring the successful execution of projects as per plan, along with transitions to operational support. The incumbent also manages operational systems and processes that require working with different teams. The incumbent performs evaluations including, but not limited to, analyzing processes, workflow, and functional needs and/ or develops, designs, implements, trains, and maintains systems consistent with these needs. The incumbent is responsible for documentation such as business and systems process maps, technical systems documentation, and other related documentation. The Incumbent performs analytical assessments of processes and provides input on process improvements. The Incumbent provides consultative support to students, staff, and faculty to enhance the use and access of technology and information systems.

Required Qualifications & Experience : A bachelor's level degree from a four-year accredited university or college in Computer Science, Engineering Technology, or a related field with five years full-time relevant experience OR equivalent experience managing technical projects. Project Management Institute PMP Certification current and in good standing. The incumbent must have experience and ability to work with technical users and communicate in a technological environment. The incumbent must have strong customer service and interpersonal skills; and have strong written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing skills. The incumbent must have the ability to work with multiple teams; work with a variety of people including students, faculty, staff, and management; manage technical projects at all levels; independently manage multiple projects concurrently; and to learn, interpret, and problem-solve independently. The incumbent must have a demonstrated interest and/or ability to work in a multicultural/multiethnic environment. A background check (including a criminal records check) must be completed satisfactorily before any candidate can be offered a position with the California State University. Desired Qualifications : Full life cycle development, systems implementation experience, and Business Analyst experience. Understanding of technologies such as network topology, server infrastructure, and application development. Understand common IT terminologies and systems engineering concepts.
