General Description and Classification Standards
The Summer Intern in Capital Delivery at the Atlanta Department of Transportation (ATLDOT) will work alongside our Capital Delivery team to gain hands-on experience in managing and executing infrastructure improvement projects throughout the city of Atlanta. This internship provides a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of vital transportation infrastructure while learning from experienced professionals in the field.
Supervision Received :
Works under direct supervision and follows standardized procedures and written instructions to accomplish assigned tasks.
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Urban Planning, or a related field.
2. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and interpretation.
3. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
4. Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in documentation and reporting.
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
6. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
7. Demonstrated interest in transportation infrastructure and urban development.
