Associate Vice Provost for Research and Innovation

Cal Poly Pomona seeks a strategic, innovative, and collaborative leader to serve as its Associate Vice Provost for Research and Innovation (AVPRI). Academic Search is assisting and invites inquiries, nominations, and applications.

The AVPRI reports directly to the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs. The ideal candidate will be a collegial academic leader who understands the mission of Cal Poly Pomona and its distinctive mission and pedagogy as a polytechnic university. The University seeks an AVPRI who respects the importance of faculty, staff, students, and shared governance. The AVPRI will be expected to grow and expand the research enterprise across the University and will work closely with the academic leadership team to ensure that institution’s research promotes innovation and supports the university’s commitment to its polytechnical pedagogy “learn by doing.”
