These properties include: Woodend Farm This 87-acre site on Hwy 557 features a large estate home, and a beautiful view of the surrounding area. The Goat Farm This 6.8-acre site on Highway 274 is currently hosting frequent farmer's markets on some weekends. The BLWPPD purchased two other properties on Highway 49 near the intersection of Hwy 274. These properties total 60 acres and feature a beautiful pond, wooded hills, and a large brick home. About our opportunity We invite you to join our team as a full-time (40 hours per week), non-exempt Park Maintenance Technician. This position will primarily focus on supporting the Bethel Lake Wylie Parks within the Parks Department. The purpose of this position is to perform multiple skilled trades to include landscaping, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, and other technical trades associated in the repair and maintenance of multiple County owned Parks and Recreation facilities. Employees in their six (6) month New Hire probationary period who are terminated or separated from employment shall not be paid for accrued annual leave. The maximum amount of annual leave carried into each calendar year is 360 hours. Earning Rate for Full-Time Employees Full-time employees with less than ten years of continuous service earn at the rate of eight hours of paid annual leave for each month of service during a twelve months period.
