This position provides an exceptional opportunity for a librarian to support CSUN’s students and faculty in Ethnic Studies departments and affiliated campus partners (student organizations and services) in innovative ways that align with the CSU’s statewide Ethnic Studies requirement and CSUN’s general education Ethnic Studies course offerings (please see: https://catalog.csun.edu/general_education/es/ ). The selected candidate will be assigned liaison roles for one or more of the Ethnic Studies departments and programs. The successful candidate will also work collaboratively with faculty to develop existing collections in Ethnic Studies. This is a 12-month, full-time, tenure-track faculty position at the Senior Assistant Librarian or Associate Librarian Level with attendant expectations for professional competence, service, and scholarly and creative contributions to the field.
