Major Duties Under general supervision of the Associate Director of Educational Opportunity Program (EOP), and in consultation with the EOP Director, the EOP Outreach Coordinator Freshmen Specialist supports advocates and facilitates the mission of California State University, Northridge, and the Educational Opportunity Program by discharging responsibilities that promote and encourage educationally disadvantaged and historically low-income students to seek higher educational opportunities specifically at CSU, Northridge, and EOP. The incumbent designs, develops, oversees, and facilitates EOP recruitment efforts to create a seamless pipeline of student applicants from key High Schools, Community Colleges, and the community into the Educational Opportunity Program at CSU, Northridge; primary focus will be with First-Time-Freshmen and Foster Youth. Creates designs, develops, oversees, and facilitates clustered partnerships with key High Schools identified as high demand/low yield potential.
