Assist/Assoc/Full Professor - Pediatric Hospitalist Lubbock 32304BR Position Description Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center is recruiting a pediatric hospital medicine physician to join our pediatric hospital medicine team in Lubbock, Texas. Our hospital medicine division is comprised of 11 pediatric hospital medicine physicians. Our division provides coverage for inpatient pediatric services at Covenant Children's Hospital, University Medical Center Children's Hospital, and Trustpoint rehabilitation hospital. Our division acts as the primary admitting team for many of our pediatric subspecialists and participates in co-management with many of the surgical specialists at each of our hospital sites. We are currently growing a hospitalist-run sedation service at Covenant Children's for children undoing procedures or sedated imaging. The Doctor of Audiology Program was accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Audiology Education ( ACAE ) in February 2023. The Department also offers a B.A degree in Communication Disorders and Sciences, and M.S. degree in the discipline of Speech-Language Pathology, including an on-line M.S. degree program in speech-language pathology.
