One year of full-time, paid experience employed by the County of Sacramento in the class of Maintenance Worker or above performing duties which include the maintenance, repair, construction, and/or operation of water and/or wastewater distribution systems, water and/or wastewater treatment facilities, bridges or roads. Or: 2. Completion of 60 semester units or more (or 90 quarter units or more) at an accredited trade school, junior college, or university with a minimum of 30 semester units (or 45 quarter units) in mechanical-electrical technology, construction management, civil engineering, or other field closely related to the intent of the class. Or: 3. Completion of two (2) years of an apprenticeship program as a plumber. Or: 4. SALARY STEP INCREASES: The beginning salary and the top of the salary range are usually shown on the job announcement.
