The Position The City of Riverside is accepting applications for the position of WASTEWATER PLANT SUPERVISOR to fill one (1) vacancy in the Wastewater Division of the Public Works Department . The Wastewater Plant Supervisor for the Public Works Department, Regional Water Quality Control Plant will oversee crews and shifts in various disciplines of Wastewater Treatment, including preliminary, primary, secondary biological nutrient removal through conventional activated sludge and membrane bioreactor, conventional tertiary, chlorination/dechlorination, anaerobic mesophilic digestion, organics receiving, biomethane production, solids dewatering and process control of the various treatment unit processes. Position Description This position oversees the day-to-day staffing and staff assignments for the operation of the stormwater or sanitary collection and conveyance systems. District Sewer Supervisor - Stormwater (one vacancy) The District Sewer Supervisor will provide leadership, management, guidance, and supervisory duties to the stormwater group to ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations. This position will also assist in the establishment of GSI maintenance methodologies and activities whether performed by contracted or City staff. District Sewer Supervisor - Sanitary (one vacancy) The District Sewer Supervisor will provide leadership, management, guidance, and supervisory duties to the sanitary group to ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
