DESIRABLE KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Knowledge of: inspection work methods involved in solid waste collection and disposal, and weed and rubbish codes; the solid waste collection codes and ordinances, and the requirements of the solid waste collection contracts; current office software applications such as Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel and Access. Ability to: deal with the public positively, sometimes under difficult circumstances and confrontational situations; maintain effective relationships with other employees and the public; prepare reports and written communication. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS Must possess and retain a valid California Class “C” Driver's License throughout tenure in this classification.
