What you'll do: Reviews and analyzes traffic data to identify concerns and recommends corrective actions. Investigates and responds to customer concerns on traffic related issues. Reviews policies, standards, and other criteria pertaining to signing, pavement marking, signals, lighting, crash records, and permits to make improvements or ensure compliance. Makes periodic field inspections to observe traffic operations; conducts traffic studies and makes recommendations to ensure safe and efficient traffic flow. Assists in directing the activities of traffic data collection, signing, pavement marking, and signal and lighting operations. All you need for success: Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited college or university curriculum. Special Working Conditions: Job requires exposure to moderately adverse and undesirable environmental conditions. Job may require operation of vehicles to plow snow and spread ice control materials.
