Position Description The City of Tacoma is currently accepting applications for the position of Street Maintenance Crew Leader. The Streets Maintenance Crew Leader plays a key role in the maintenance and repair of the City's transportation system and it's components. This is a lead worker position for the Public Works Department. An employee in this classification is responsible for leading a crew or multiple crews in the maintenance, repair and construction of City rights-of-ways. Duties include driving/operating a wide variety of equipment and providing training and work direction to subordinates to accomplish assigned duties.
