Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS: A combination of experience and training that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities may be qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be: Experience: Four (4) years of increasingly responsible human resources experience, including one (1) year of supervisory experience. Public sector experience is highly desirable. Education: A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in Business Administration, Public Administration or a closely related field is required. Summary About This Role: As a Freshwater Systems Ecologist, you will apply your expertise in environmental monitoring, data management, and analysis to deepen the understanding of freshwater ecosystems in King County. Job Duties What You Will Be Doing: Use statistical programs (e.g., R) to analyze water quality, hydrology, stream macroinvertebrate, and other environmental data to help understand the status, trends, and drivers of stream conditions.
