The Ideal Candidate: Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in communication, public relations, marketing, or a related field. Knowledge of concepts, practices, procedures, methods, and techniques used in public relations, media relations, and community outreach. Excellent customer service skills, along with effective oral and written communication skills. Knowledge of the basic operations, services, and activities of a public information and community outreach program. Familiarity with Canva or Adobe Suite is a plus. Knowledge of office procedures, methods, and equipment including computers and applicable software applications such as word processing, spreadsheets and databases. Must possess a valid California Driver’s License.
