Reviews written reports on program activities and progress toward achieving the overall goals of the program; develops written program goals and specialty program plans. Supervises and participates in the development and administration of contracts with public health program service providers; supervises the monitoring and evaluation of agencies to ensure compliance with contract requirements and services. Conducts meetings with departmental, public, private, and non-profit groups and community organizations to discuss and influence policy issues impacting the assigned program. The Department of Health Services has requested a county-wide promotional certification to fill a Training Coordinator position. The Civil Service title for this position is Department Analyst. The Board Agenda Analyst manages special projects and provides subject matter expertise to internal and external customers for Board meeting processes. The position will oversee administrative functions and processes in Legistar, the County's primary Board agenda content management software, and will process information within other internal County software applications. The Board Agenda Analyst is responsible for developing improved procedures and agenda instructions, refining existing internal user manuals, supporting department personnel, providing related trainings, and acting as the liaison with software vendors when issues or updates arise.
