The JobSan Bernardino County is recruiting for
Supervising Fiscal Specialists who supervise clerical staff engaged in performing a wide variety of tasks related to the examination, reconciliation and recording of fiscal, financial, statistical and complex payroll records. Supervising Fiscal Specialists perform varied and complex job duties, which include supervising the work of assigned staff and evaluating work performance; participating in hiring and disciplinary actions; planning and organizing the day-to-day fiscal support operations of the office; setting work standards, systems, and office procedures; coordinating clerical services with other departmental operations; preparing or supervising the preparation of complex financial, fiscal or payroll records, statements, and transactions; and resolving unusual or difficult problems referred by subordinates.

The salary for San Bernardino County Fire Protection District (Supervising Fiscal Specialist is $25.17 - $34.69 hourly (range 26)). For additional details, refer to the Fire Auxiliary Services Unit MOU and Benefits Summary .
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT Travel: A valid California Class C Driver License is required to carry out the essential job-related functions of this position. Mileage reimbursement and proof of automobile liability insurance must be maintained.

Minimum Requirements CANDIDATES MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENT: EXPERIENCE Must possess three (3) years of full-time equivalent
fiscal work experience reviewing, reconciling, and maintaining fiscal/accounting records as the
primary function of the job.
NOTE: General office/clerical experience is not considered qualifying fiscal work experience. Desired QualificationsThe ideal candidate will have extensive experience in:
- Supervisory and/or leadership roles
- Typing/keyboarding skills
- Accounts Payable
- Complex Payroll
- SAP
