California Children Services (CCS) is seeking a
Regulatory Compliance Analyst* to play a crucial role in enhancing program effectiveness by analyzing, monitoring and providing compliance oversight within their Monitoring and Oversight Unit.
Primary duties include:- Team Leadership:
- Provide effective leadership to a small team of compliance professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Conduct regular team meetings to communicate priorities, share updates, and address any issues or concerns.
- Subject Matter Expertise:
- Stay abreast of the latest developments and updates related to CCS regulations with a focus on Cal AIM, monitoring and oversight initiatives.
- Serve as the primary point of contact and subject matter expert for Cal AIM, monitoring and oversight related inquiries within the organization.
- Policy and Standard Practice Development:
- Collaborate with internal teams and DPH compliance to develop and implement comprehensive internal policies and standard practices that align with CCS and Cal AIM regulations.
- Ensure that policies and practices are communicated effectively and consistently across the organization.
- Compliance Oversight:
- Develop and implement monitoring and oversight programs to ensure CCS compliance with the Department of Health Care Services requirements and other relevant regulations.
- Review regular audits and assessments to identify audits and corrective actions are appropriate.
- Appeals Management and Regulatory Reporting:
- Serves as the primary point of contact for the initial review of appeals, ensuring proper routing to the appropriate personnel for detailed technical evaluation and reporting to the Program Manager.
- Oversee the timely preparation and submission of regulatory reports to the appropriate authorities.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT Travel: Travel throughout the County may be required and employees will be required to make provisions for such transportation.

Minimum RequirementsCandidates must possess BOTH the required experience AND education to qualify.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Must possess eighteen (18) months of full-time equivalent professional level administrative experience performing analytical duties as the primary job function in the areas of compliance, regulatory reporting or policy and standard practice development.
REQUIRED EDUCATION: A completed Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in public/business administration, public health, behavioral/social science, human resources, or other relevant field of study.

- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and apply complex regulations.
