    Division of Academic Affairs

    Administrative Analyst/Specialist - Non-Exempt

    ** Temporary/Part-Time Position - up to 20 hours per week. ***

    RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
    • Program Discovery: collaborates with program leadership to understand key branding needs, target audiences, and messaging goals.
    • Design and deliver marketing deliverables inclusive of program flyer, brochures, event flyers, full and half page print advertisements.
    • Copywriting: write and edit copy across all printed materials for consistent tone and message.
    • Project Management: manage timelines, communications, and coordination throughout project phases.

    REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION:

    Education:
    Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, communications, or a related field required.

    Experience: three to five years of professional design experience, preferably in higher education or graduate business program marketing.

    Knowledge & Skills:
    • Demonstrated expertise in Adobe Creative Suite
    • Strong visual design and branding skills
    • Experience producing print-ready deliverables
    • Ability to manage timelines, revisions, and multiple deliverables independently

    Physical Requirements:
    Primarily remote with computer-based design work; minimal physical exertion required.

    Special Conditions:
    Must comply with CSU’s 125% additional employment rule. Appointment not to exceed 180 days. Background check required.

    A background check (including a criminal records check) must be completed satisfactorily before any candidate can be offered a position with the CSU. Failure to satisfactorily complete the background check may affect the application status of applicants or continued employment of current CSU employees who apply for the position.

    The person holding this position is considered a ‘mandated reporter’ under the California Child Abuse and Neglect Reporting Act and is required to comply with the requirements set forth in CSU Executive Order 1083 Revised July 21, 2017 as a condition of employment.

    Hiring Salary: $47.99 per hour
