Job Location: This position can be domiciled at the following Regional Office locations: Poplar Bluff Satellite Office, or Sikeston Regional Office. Eligible for remote and hybrid options. No on-call.

Role Description: This professional position performs an integral function for the Division of Developmental Disabilities. An Intake Specialist is responsible for determining if an applicant meets eligibility criteria to be served through the Division.
Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in a human services field;
- Experience administering and/or reviewing standardized assessments, performing comprehensive review of records, determining programmatic eligibility, conducting structured interviews, and experience with Medicaid-funded Home and Community Based Services, or other public assistance benefits;
- Experience working and/or supporting individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities;
- Knowledge of the Division’s eligibility regulations, statutes, waiver assurances, directives, and policies.
