Supervising Support Care Assistant - Scheduler - BHC

This full-time position is located at Bellefontaine Habilitation Center, 10695 Bellefontaine Rd., Saint Louis, MO 63137. Your general work schedule will be 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday. Flexibility may be needed to meet the needs of the facility for any schedule changes. This position reports directly to the Unit Treatment Manager.

This is a supervisory direct care position accountable for administering medication and other prescribed treatments and care of consumers, which requires being L1MA certified. Additional pay for the L1MA duties is not included in the above listed salary. This position maintains the overall staffing schedule for all three shifts, ensuring that staffing standards are updated based on consumer needs. This position participates in Staffing Meetings, discussing in staffing concerns, and initiates request to fills for vacant positions. The person in this position will oversee the annual vacation requests and approvals as outlined by the AFSCME Union contract. The person works with the shift Supervising Support Care Assistants to balance schedules, coordinate time off request and assisting in the monitoring of discipline as it relates to attendance. This person supervises the transporters and can cover for shift Supervising Support Care Assistants as needed.

Two to four years of relevant experience. Have a valid driver’s license. Computer skills are necessary for being able to complete the duties of this position.
