Two positions are available. This position may be filled at one of the three levels based on knowledge, skills, and abilities. The entry salary is posted above, with the intermediate starting salary of $44,224.56 and a senior starting salary of $48,621.60. What you’ll do: - Prepares detailed construction plans for routine bridges, retaining walls and box culverts using computer aided drafting systems.
- Computes elevations and structural dimensions from sketches and computations supplied by a designer
- Makes necessary revisions after plans have been checked or reviewed.
- Computes reinforcing bar lists and quantities of materials needed for construction.
- Prepares preliminary detailing for new projects.
All you need for success: - Associate Degree in Civil Engineering Technology, Drafting, Computer Aided Drafting, or related field.
