Why you’ll love this position:

The Division of Behavioral Health (DBH) is seeking a Contract Coordinator for Central Office domiciled in Jefferson City, Missouri. This position reports to the DBH Project Coordinator. Partial remote work schedule will be available.

  • Managing all Division contract actions to support the new and ongoing program and service delivery functions for community providers, psychiatric facilities, prevention, recovery support, grant services and support services
  • Manage the implementation and ongoing maintenance of the Organization Change and Contract Action Requests (Org/CAR) system.
  • Provide technical assistance and training to providers and DBH staff for the Org/CAR system and processes
  • Coordinate with DBH staff, providers, and procurement to assure accurate and timely processing of Org/CARs
  • Ensuring all contract actions meet the federal, state and Department/Division regulations and policy
  • Provide training and support on new development for internal and external users
  • Communicate new or updated processes and systems for end users
  • Coordinate with DBH project management staff in requirements gathering and testing of projects and enhancements for systems
  • Assist with DBH support center (help desk) as needed
  • Develop and maintain billing, procedural and other guidance related documents utilized by internal and external stakeholders for CIMOR and CVS
  • Coordination of and participation in user acceptance testing for all new, corrected or enhanced technology related IT requests for CIMOR and CVS
  • Developing SQL queries to collect and analyze claims/billing information from the Department’s data warehouse; interpreting this information into meaningful responses for providers or reports for management decision making


Preferred skills:

  • Experience with procurement processes
  • Experience with project management skills such as organization, planning, milestones and tracking
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with internal DBH employees, other agencies and stakeholders using multiple delivery methods (email, phone, and face-to-face)
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience using a Microsoft Windows Operating System
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2-5 years relevant work experience
  • Knowledge of CIMOR (Consumer Information Management, Outcomes and Reporting)
  • Knowledge of CVS (Claims Validation System)
  • Basic working knowledge of SQL Server reporting
