Are you a savvy financial systems guru? Do you enjoy engaging with business owners and enhancing electronic content? If yes, Wake County is looking for you! Come join the Finance Team of equalizers working to keep the County accurately balanced and in order as our new Senior Finance Systems Administrator. As a new team member, you will make an impact by managing the County's financial information and enterprise resource planning systems (ERP). This position will report to the Finance Systems Manager.

Essential Functions of the position include the following:
  • Assists in implementation of new financial system applications
  • Key player in application upgrades and enhancements
  • Monitor and maintain financial data that flows between systems
  • Document and report system issues and provide assistance with issue resolution
  • Engage with business owners to make decisions through data reconciliation and gathering information
  • Train and assist end users with our electronic content management applications
  • Coordinate and support vendor installations and designs
  • Collaborate with teams by testing new and existing functionality

The Basics (Required Education and Experience)

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field to the area of employment
  • Five years of related information systems experience
  • Equivalent education and experience are accepted

Beyond the Basics (Preferred Education and Experience)

  • 4 years of ERP system experience
  • 2 years of Governmental accounting or accounting experience

Work Schedule: Mon - Fri 8:30am - 5:15pm - eligible for 50% remote

Hiring Range: 69,000 - 90,000

Market Range: 68,544.00 - 116,522.00
