  • The office for this position is located at the Jefferson State Office Bldg, 205 Jefferson Street, Floor 3, Jefferson City, MO.
  • Candidates who complete a successful onboarding and training period may be eligible to work at an alternate location in compliance with OA-ITSD's Distributed Workforce Plan.

This position with the Office of Administration, Information Technology Services Division (OA-ITSD), supporting the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE).

  • Communicate with business users and ITSD team members.
  • Develop, test, debug, deploy, and maintain code for applications within DESE's portfolio.
  • Coordinate and work with agency staff on open tickets and requests.
  • Work on small enhancements.


  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of C#, VB ASP.Net, MVC, JavaScript, CSS, Bootstrap, and Visual Studio.
  • Familiar with Azure DevOps (ADO) and Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Experience with SSRS.
  • Successful background check results are required for employment in this position. This may include background checks involving a candidate’s name and/or fingerprints and other screenings as needed for the specific position.

Knowledge of the core programming language used in the assigned area. Knowledge of computer logic statements and their applications. Ability to learn and apply concepts. Ability to perform basic mathematics. Ability to provide logical and innovative ideas, and think critically to resolve issues. Ability to communicate with staff, management, and agency personnel.
