Job Summary

Performs unskilled manual work involving the maintenance of specific department needs. Primary duties include minor repair of pavers in streetscape. Also employee will install and remove banners, flags, and holiday decorations on pedestrian lamp poles. Employee will also be responsible for the presentation of downtown Orlando's right of ways. This may require removing trash by following prescribed routes. Work is assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor and is inspected for quality and productivity.

Must be comfortable working on ladders

Minimum Qualifications:

Ability to read, write, and follow instructions. Some laborer experience in area assigned.

Position requires a valid Florida Driver License.

Position involves minor repair of pavers in streetscape. Also employee willinstalland removebanners, flags, and holiday decorations on pedestrian lamp poles. Employee will also be responsible for the presentation of downtown Orlando's right of ways. This may require removing trash by following prescribed routes.

Typical Shift: 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m."

If this posting indicates a degree is required, the following experience will apply in lieu of any degree as follows:

Two (2) years of direct experience for an associate degree;
Four (4) years of direct experience for a bachelor's degree;
Six (6) years of direct experience for a master's degree; or
Nine (9) years of direct experience for a doctoral degree.
