Job Location: 830 MoDOT Drive, Jefferson City, MOWhy you’ll love this position:The general services intern performs routine entry-level activities in facilities management. Responsibilities are performed under direct supervision.
- Performs routine maintenance on building interiors, such as replacing light bulbs, switches and fuses; repairing windows and blinds; and installing floor and ceiling tile.
- Performs facility renovation, repair, and maintenance functions such as pouring and finishing concrete, roofing, painting and plastering, and installing carpet, sheetrock, and doors.
- Performs routine maintenance to plumbing, heating, and air conditioning systems.
- Repairs, moves, and assembles file cabinets and furniture.
- Performs other responsibilities as required or assigned.
Minimum Qualifications - Must be enrolled in a relevant associates’ s or bachelor’s degree program
- Must possess, and maintain, an overall GPA of 2.0 or higher out of 4.0.
- Must have completed at least 30 credit hours.
